The Hash House Harriers (HHH or H3) is an international group of non-competitive running social clubs. An event organized by a club is known as a Hash or Run, or a Hash Run. A common denominal verb for this activity is Hashing, with participants calling themselves Hashers. Male members are referred to as Harriers and females are known as Harriettes.
The Hash is humorously known as A Drinking Club With A Running Problem, with the preferred beverage of consumption being beer.
Granada H3 is designed for people who want to socialise, have fun and share enjoyable experiences in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our group brings together those who are looking to meet new people, enjoy outdoor activities and spend quality time without pressure or competitiveness. Mutual respect and a spirit of friendship are the foundations that guide us in every gathering, creating a space where everyone feels welcome from the very first moment. Here, the goal is simple: enjoy, laugh, explore and be part of an open and positive community.
Granada H3 was founded in 2024 by two experienced Hashers who decided to bring the Hash House Harriers spirit to the city of Granada for the very first time. What started as a small idea between friends quickly began to grow, attracting new members and inspiring new activities. Over time, each event and each new participant has helped shape and strengthen the identity of the group, giving it a more solid and unified character. Today, Granada H3 proudly embraces the core Hash values: camaraderie, fun, respect and an adventurous spirit that encourages us to keep sharing unique and memorable experiences together.
One of the core activities of Granada H3 is following a marked route using different symbols and clues that lead participants along the correct path. The goal is to find the right direction step by step until reaching the final destination. The reward at the end of the trail usually includes a refreshing beer waiting for everyone, adding a fun and social touch to every outing.
